**About: J.J. Butler** spends his days considering investments. As a teen he was inspired by two biographies on Warren Buffett and subscribed to the Wall Street Journal. Today J.J. reads 10-Q filings and takes notes while listening to company conference calls. Independent Stock Analysis is about what J.J. finds worthwhile and interesting in the markets. He resides near Lake Michigan, enjoys spending time with his wife and toddler and coaches girls' basketball.
